Position: Workday Finance, Senior Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a Workday Finance Business Analyst with a strong accounting background and a CPA or CA designation to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of the Workday Financial Management platform. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between Finance and IT, translating business requirements into scalable Workday solutions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on Workday Financials experience who understands finance operations, process improvement, reporting, and enterprise system implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Workday Financial Management enhancements and implementations.
- Configure, support, and optimize Workday Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, and Financial Reporting.
- Lead business process analysis, system testing (UAT), and validation to ensure solutions meet business and compliance requirements.
- Develop financial reports, dashboards, and functional documentation while providing end-user training and support.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external vendors to deliver Workday projects, system upgrades, integrations, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- CPA or CA designation is required or strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience, including at least 3 years supporting Workday Financial Management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and finance business processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience supporting enterprise ERP or Workday implementations.
