Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who are passionate about the law and want to make a real difference in their clients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from intake to resolution.
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop comprehensive case strategies.
Maintain consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the litigation process.
Essential Functions:
Analyze complex legal issues and offer sound legal counsel to clients.
Present clear, persuasive oral and written arguments in court.
Conduct and defend depositions and witness/expert interviews.
Review and interpret medical, financial, and legal records relevant to case matters.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in California.
Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
Excellent legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of relevant laws, court rules, and procedures.
