Machine Set Up Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Set Up Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on machining experience who enjoys problem-solving, precision work, and contributing to high-quality production.

What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (Lathes, Milling, or Swiss) to fabricate parts.

  • Install and align fixtures, tooling, and accessories for production runs.

  • Retrieve, review, and load CNC programs; verify correct revisions.

  • Establish machining offsets (G54, etc.) and adjust tool offsets as needed.

  • Monitor operations, detect malfunctions, and make adjustments to meet specifications.

  • Perform deburring, inspections, and preventive maintenance.

  • Use hand tools, gauges, and CMM to verify part quality.

  • Document results and maintain compliance with quality standards.

  • Train team members on basic equipment operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or machining program preferred.

  • Experience with CNC machining (set up and operation).

  • Strong ability to read blueprints, CNC programs, and inspection tools.

  • Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems a plus.

  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
