Tax & Audit Senior

A well-established CPA firm in Rock Rapids, Iowa is looking for a Tax & Audit Senior to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a client-focused, community-rooted environment that values high-quality service, professional development, and long-term relationships.

*What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting

  • Prepare and review tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, trust, estate)

  • Provide tax planning and IRS representation services

  • Assist with payroll, bookkeeping, and sales tax as needed

  • Build strong client relationships through responsive and professional service


*What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred

  • 3–5 years of experience in public accounting (tax + audit)

  • Excellent communication, technical, and analytical skills

  • A desire to grow your career locally and make a long-term impact

  • Strong attention to detail and client service mindset
