Instrumentation & Controls Technician

Compensation: $40-$45/hour

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday-Friday

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Technician to join a growing industrial operation. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing automation and control systems in a production environment.

This is a field-focused role where you'll spend your time diagnosing issues, supporting operations, and ensuring equipment reliability—not sitting behind a desk programming all day.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems

• Support Allen Bradley PLC platforms and related control systems

• Diagnose and resolve instrumentation and electrical control issues

• Work with HMI/touchscreen interfaces and industrial networking systems

• Troubleshoot and calibrate pressure transmitters, level transmitters, and related instrumentation

• Maintain and improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency

• Support plant operations through timely troubleshooting and repairs

• Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Allen Bradley PLC experience preferred

• Experience with Automation Direct systems a plus

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Experience with industrial networking and HMI systems

• Knowledge of instrumentation, including 4-20mA loops, pressure transmitters, and level transmitters

• Ability to work independently in a production environment

• Hands-on maintenance and controls experience required
