Job Opportunity: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Location: Scenic Northern Minnesota

About the Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our patient-focused team at our well-established clinics in northern Minnesota. This is a flexible position offering full-time or part-time scheduling based on provider preferences. This would be a perfect opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts who especially enjoy hunting and fishing in northern Minnesota! 

Position Overview:

As a key member of our care team, you will:

  • Deliver comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population.
  • Perform routine physical exams, well-child check-ups, and chronic disease management.
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses.
  • Manage your own patient panel, with physician support readily available for collaboration and second opinions.

Appointment Structure:

  • Average visit length: 30 minutes
  • Physicals and well-child exams: 45 minutes

Clinic Environment:

Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), allowing you to:

  • Focus on patient care without RVU or production contracts.
  • Use GE Centricity EMR, fully implemented across all locations.
  • Receive customized training in both medical processes and EMR use.

Scheduling:

  • Part-Time: 3–4 days/week at one clinic or 
  • Full-Time: Add 1–2 days/week at a second clinic

Provider Benefits:

  • No RVU or production-based compensation
  • $2,500 and 5 days for Continuing Education (pro-rated for part-time)

  • DEA & MN medical license reimbursement
  • Eligible for student loan repayment (HPSA score of 15)

Requirements:

  • Valid Minnesota License and DEA Certificate
  • Experience providing chronic and acute care for all life cycles
