This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings precision, strategy, and deep industry knowledge to every bid.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for a range of residential projects
Analyze plans, specs, and scopes of work to determine materials, labor, and equipment needs
Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop competitive proposals
Assist with preconstruction planning, budgeting, and value engineering
Track actual costs vs. estimates to improve future pricing strategies
✅ Qualifications:
5+ years of estimating experience in residential construction
Strong knowledge of residential building systems, codes, and construction methods
Proficiency in estimating tools (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst, or similar)
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Understanding of construction contracts and bid processes
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
