Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, and other vertical building projects.
  • Prepare structural calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Review project requirements and develop practical, code-compliant structural solutions.
  • Participate in site visits, field observations, and construction administration activities as needed.
  • Assist with project coordination, quality control reviews, and technical problem-solving.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and client requirements.QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or related engineering discipline.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis and design principles for vertical building projects.
  • Proficiency with structural engineering software and standard design tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred
  • 5+ years of structural engineering experience in building design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working on a variety of commercial, institutional, healthcare, educational, industrial, or residential building projects.
  • Familiarity with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design.What We're Looking For
