About the Role:

A highly respected general contractor in the greater Miami, FL metro area is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. This leadership role is responsible for managing all phases of commercial construction projects from initial planning through final closeout. This is a full-time opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial projects in one of South Florida’s most dynamic construction markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through final completion

  • Lead and coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients

  • Maintain control of project budgets, schedules, and documentation

  • Oversee subcontractor negotiations, buyout, and contract execution

  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with local and federal regulations

  • Facilitate communication with architects, engineers, and the owner’s representatives

  • Manage RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and procurement processes

  • Conduct project meetings and provide consistent progress reporting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of commercial construction experience (General Contractor experience strongly preferred)

  • Proven ability to manage projects ranging from $5M to $50M+

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, scheduling, and budgeting

  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred, but other applicants with seasoned experience in the field will also be considered
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus!
