QC Inspector -
Qualifications and Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Minimum graduation is High School diploma
- AWS Certified Weld Inspector (ACWI or CWI)
- NACE Certified Coating Inspector
- Knowledge of AWS and AISC codes applicable to steel fabrication
- Structural steel fabrication shop experience including layout and blueprint reading
- Experience with the necessary inspection tools utilized in this position
- Must be able to measure parts, and overall fabricated steel members dimensions accurately based on approved for fabrication drawings
- Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent English oral and communication skills
- Presentation and reporting skills
- Team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with the production department to make sure the quality standards are clearly understood by all production employees
- Coordinate work with production to identify required inspections
