A leading commercial construction firm known for delivering high-quality projects across the US, is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the intricacies of commercial construction, and brings accuracy, efficiency, and strategic insight to every bid.
. Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for commercial projects including retail, office, healthcare, education, and industrial builds.
. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scopes to assess materials, labor, and equipment costs.
. Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure complete, competitive proposals.
. Manage pre-construction activities and assist in budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering. Track actual project costs vs. estimates and refine future bidding strategies accordingly.
5 + years of experience as a Construction Estimator, specifically in commercial construction. Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and commercial construction methods. Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of construction contracts. Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
