Commercial Title Officer

A leading national Title Agency is seeking a full-time Title Officer/Closer to join their growing team. Specializing in title searches, writing policies, managing transactions, and providing escrow and closing services, the firm manages 10,000+ transactions yearly offering comprehensive commercial and residential title services in all 50 states.

Key Responsibilities

• The Title Officer will conduct closings and handle support throughout the settlement process.
•  Act as the primary point of contact for Real Estate Investors, Developers, Attorneys, and Banks.
• Review of clearance documents ensuring all requirements meet underwriter requirements.
• Prepare proformas.
• Prepare Settlement Statements.  
• Maintain system to ensure milestones are met in accordance with company policy.
• Prepares completed files for disbursement.
• Address all client requests and parties associated with the transaction in a timely manner.

Desired Qualifications

• 5+ years of title/real estate paralegal experience.
• Multi-state national experience required.
• Paralegal Certification preferred.
• Real Estate License and Notary preferred.
• Strong understanding of real estate title closing procedures and legality.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
