Position: Superintendent – Heavy Civil Construction

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage heavy civil construction projects, including roadways, bridges, and site development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction, with the ability to lead teams, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site
Manage and direct subcontractors, laborers, and equipment operators
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Monitor project progress and report on schedule and budget adherence
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including timecards, reports, and material usage
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and implement solutions
Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections
Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and equipment
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
