Tax Senior/Staff Accountant – Poconos Region, Pennsylvania
A well-established public accounting firm serving the Pocono Mountains region is seeking an experienced Tax Senior or Staff Accountant to join their growing team in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns for a diverse client base.
- Perform bookkeeping services and maintain accurate financial records for clients.
- Prepare compiled financial statements and assist with audit engagements.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted point of contact for tax matters.
- Research technical accounting and tax issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 3–5+ years of experience in public accounting or similar environment.
- Strong technical skills in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with or exposure to audit procedures preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple client engagements.
Preferred
- CPA license or CPA candidate actively pursuing licensure.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $50,000–$70,000 (commensurate with experience).
