Safety Director – Electrical Construction
Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We have been retained by a well-established electrical contractor in the Omaha area to find a Safety Director to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead company-wide safety programs across commercial, industrial, and data center electrical projects Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures Conduct regular jobsite safety audits and inspections Ensure OSHA compliance and manage all required reporting Lead incident investigations and implement corrective action plans Provide safety training, onboarding, and ongoing education for field personnel Partner with project managers and field leadership to enforce a strong safety culture Review project sites, workflows, and practices to identify and mitigate risks Maintain all safety documentation, records, and reporting requirements Drive continuous improvement in safety performance across all operations Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
7+ years of construction safety experience (electrical construction strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations Proven leadership experience managing safety programs or teams Ability to work effectively with field operations and leadership teams Strong communication, training, and organizational skills Stable work history Certifications such as OSHA 30 preferred
