Growing multi-state defense litigation firm seeks a driven attorney with 10+ years of experience and a passion for complex litigation for our Oklahoma City offices. Our firm focuses heavily on insurance defense matters and represents clients in high-exposure, sophisticated cases across multiple jurisdictions.

Our practice includes construction law, healthcare liability, oil and gas, product liability, trucking and transportation, catastrophic injury, construction defect, premises liability, and insurance coverage, all handled within a collaborative insurance defense team environment that values quality work and strategic thinking.

We are seeking an attorney who is a true team player, not afraid of hard work, and motivated to develop strong trial skills. Prior litigation experience is preferred, with a particular emphasis on candidates who have worked in insurance defense and understand the demands of client reporting, analysis, and case strategy.

Position Overview: The Lead Defense Litigation Attorney will oversee active caseloads, mentor junior associates, and serve as a key point of contact for clients.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Oklahoma
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to follow established firm procedures while contributing thoughtfully to case strategy
  • 10+ years of defense litigation experience (insurance defense preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead cases and teams effectively.

Responsibilities Responsibilities for this attorney include full case management from inception through resolution, including written discovery, taking and defending depositions, motion practice, mediations, hearings, and client reporting. This role involves hands-on insurance defense work requiring timely analysis, recommendations, and evaluation of settlement and verdict potential. Trial experience is not required but is strongly preferred.

An ideal attorney will be able to independently evaluate case strengths and weaknesses while working collaboratively with the litigation team to deliver exceptional client service.

Our firm offers mentoring, a supportive work environment, work-life balance, full benefits, paid parking, and long-term growth opportunities. Please forward your resume and writing sample to eric.vetter@gogpac.com
