Insurance Defense Legal Assistant Tulsa Oklahoma

We are seeking a legal assistant with a minimum of four years of insurance defense litigation experience to join our growing team. This position supports a busy litigation practice and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism.

The ideal legal assistant will support a fast-paced insurance defense practice and demonstrate excellent proofreading and transcription skills, with a minimum typing speed of 65 wpm. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe is required. Experience with CaseMap, TextMap, and other document management software is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents
  • Maintaining electronic file databases and document management systems
  • Calendaring and docketing all case-related deadlines
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Submitting filings in federal and state courts
  • Working in a confidential environment while supporting multiple matters

This role is ideal for a legal assistant who wants to grow long-term in an insurance defense environment and who is a self-starter, collaborative, and willing to assist others as needed.

Prior experience as a legal assistant in insurance defense matters is strongly preferred.
