Steel General Manager needed. (Relocation Assistance for the right person provided)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations across fabrication shop and field erection crews
• Manage production schedules, project timelines, and overall job execution
• Drive profitability through cost control, labor efficiency, and resource planning
• Lead and develop shop, field, and project management teams
• Ensure safety compliance across all operations (shop and field)
• Work closely with estimating, project management, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and overall company performance
• Maintain quality standards and ensure projects meet specifications

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a General Manager in steel fabrication and/or erection
• Strong background in structural steel operations (shop and field)
• Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and multiple projects
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and P&L responsibility
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance
• Leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability and results
