🔍 Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed construction budgets by reviewing home plans and updating specifications
Identify and project costs accurately
Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified partners, and negotiating pricing
Perform scope, quantity, and unit cost reconciliations
Support project management in preparing project budgets and timelines
Negotiate agreement terms, draft and manage construction contracts, and ensure proper permitting and risk analysis
Communicate consistently with project management to ensure quality and compliance with company standards
Monitor projects daily to ensure budget alignment and construction quality
✅ Requirements:
5+ years of experience in residential construction estimating
Strong understanding of budgeting, cost forecasting, and scope analysis
Experience with custom options, vendor management, pricing, value engineering, variance requests, and budgeting is strongly preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
