Survey Technician / Geomatics Specialist 

A well-respected A&E firm is seeking a Survey Technician/Geomatics Specialist to join their growing team. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with strong field-to-office experience who can immediately contribute while growing into a long-term leadership trajectory.

Key Responsibilities • Perform boundary, topo, ALTA, utility, and construction surveys • Operate Trimble GPS, total stations, and 3D scanners (RT360, P-Series 40/50/60) • Process field data using Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D • Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and base maps with precision • Collaborate with office teams to ensure accurate deliverables • Support drone-based survey operations (FAA certification a plus) • Maintain survey equipment and provide detailed project documentation • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering • 3–8 years of experience with a mid-size or large A&E firm • Proficiency with Trimble software and Civil 3D • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset • Ability to contribute effectively in both field and office settings • Drone piloting experience preferred
