Job Title: Heavy Civil Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Heavy Civil Project Manager to join our team. This role will oversee complex heavy civil infrastructure projects, including dams, reservoirs, DOT roadway and bridge construction, large diameter utilities, landfills, wastewater facilities, and emergency response projects. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, technical expertise, and project management experience to successfully deliver challenging projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the planning, execution, and completion of multiple large-scale heavy civil projects.
Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using tools like Primavera, Viewpoint, and HCSS Heavy Bid.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Lead project meetings, provide progress reports, and resolve project issues.
Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders.
Provide guidance and mentorship to project engineering staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Professional license, certifications, and contractor's licenses preferred.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project engineering and project management.
Proven experience managing large diameter pipe projects (over 32 inches).
Strong computer proficiency with project management and estimating software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-value, complex projects.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
