Job Description

Tig Welder

Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications
  • Set up and adjust welding equipment for proper weld quality
  • Prep materials (cutting, grinding, cleaning) prior to welding
  • Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality cosmetic welds
  • Inspect welds for defects and ensure they meet standards
  • Perform minor fabrication and fit-up as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of TIG welding experience
  • Strong ability to read prints and follow weld specs
  • Experience welding thin gauge materials and critical components
  • Knowledge of proper weld techniques and safety practices
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency
