Grain Location Manager – South Central Kansas

GPAC is partnering with a growing grain company to identify a Grain Location Manager for a grain handling facility in South Central Kansas. This individual will be responsible for leading all day-to-day elevator operations, ensuring efficient grain movement, maintaining grain quality, overseeing facility personnel, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily grain elevator operations, including inbound and outbound grain handling.
  • Oversee grain quality, inventory management, and grain condition throughout storage and shipment.
  • Direct and oversee 110+ car shuttle train loading operations.
  • Lead, train, and develop elevator employees while maintaining a strong safety culture.
  • Manage and maintain all grain handling equipment, rolling stock, and facility assets.
  • Coordinate rail logistics and ensure timely grain movement through the shuttle loading facility.
  • Schedule federal grain inspections and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Oversee fumigation programs and contractor safety requirements.
  • Resolve customer concerns and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Review invoices, manage facility purchasing and expenditures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient facility environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of management experience within a grain terminal shuttle-loading facility.
  • Direct experience overseeing 110+ car shuttle train loading operations.
  • Experience managing grain quality, inventory, rail logistics, and facility personnel.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 DOE + bonus potential
