Position: RN/LPN – PM & NOC Shifts (Full-Time, Part-Time & 16/24)

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team on the PM and NOC shifts. Multiple options are available, including:

  • Full-time and part-time PM shift RN/LPN positions
  • Part-time NOC shift RN/LPN position
  • A unique 16/24 Status position: work three weekends per month and enjoy an increased rate of pay,perfect for those with busy weekdays

There is also a full-time Monday–Friday RN/LPN position on the PM shift that participates in the Licensed Staff weekend on-call rotation and works every other holiday.

Committed Hours Pay & Sign-On Bonuses

Your commitment is rewarded—in a big way.

  • RNs who commit to 72–80 hours per pay period earn an additional $12 per hour
  • LPNs who commit to 72–80 hours per pay period earn an additional $10 per hour

Sign-On Bonuses:

  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualifying RN hires
  • $4,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualifying LPN hires

Key Responsibilities – RN

As an RN at Shady Lane, you will be a clinical leader on your unit and a key advocate for your residents. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct supervision to LPNs, CNAs, and other non-licensed staff assigned to the unit
  • Completing thorough resident assessments, identifying changes in condition, and implementing timely, appropriate interventions
  • Complying with all pharmaceutical policies and ensuring safe medication administration and monitoring
  • Leading and actively participating in the care planning process and ensuring care plans are implemented consistently
  • Maintaining high standards of professional documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements
  • Communicating clearly and respectfully with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Managing and coordinating daily resident care in a manner that upholds dignity, respect, and resident choice
  • Fostering a positive, collaborative team environment and supporting Shady Lane’s mission of compassionate, quality care

Key Responsibilities – LPN

LPNs at Shady Lane play a vital role in day-to-day resident care and unit flow. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct supervision to CNAs and other non-licensed personnel assigned to the unit
  • Observing residents, recognizing changes in condition, and making appropriate nursing interventions
  • Complying with all pharmaceutical policies and participating in safe medication administration and monitoring
  • Assisting in the development, communication, and implementation of individualized resident care plans
  • Maintaining accurate, timely professional documentation
  • Ensuring resident care is delivered in a dignified, respectful, and person-centered manner
  • Promoting teamwork and open communication across all disciplines

Schedule & Status Options

Shady Lane offers flexible structures to match different lifestyles:

  • Full-Time Monday–Friday PM RN/LPN with weekend on-call rotation and every-other-holiday requirement
  • Full-Time and Part-Time PM RN/LPN positions on the units
  • Part-Time NOC RN/LPN position

Qualifications

  • Current, active RN or LPN license in the State of Wisconsin
  • Genuine passion for serving seniors and rehab patients in a community-based, non-profit setting
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and support LPNs (for RNs), CNAs, and other non-licensed staff
  • Commitment to professional documentation, resident dignity, and team-based care
  • Previous long-term care, rehab, or assisted living experience is highly valued but not always required—strong orientation and support are provided
