General Liability Associate Attorney (1–5 Years)

📍 Richmond, Roanoke, or Norfolk, VA (Norfolk & Roanoke most urgent)

A well-established defense firm is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join its growing team across multiple Virginia offices. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience in a collaborative, trial-focused environment.

About the Role

• 1–5 years of experience in:

  • Insurance Defense

  • General Liability / Liability Defense

  • Civil Litigation or Commercial Litigation

• Manage a diverse caseload with opportunities for hands-on litigation and trial exposure

• Work closely with a supportive team in an open-door, collaborative environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Commensurate with experience

• Billable requirement: 1,800 hours

• Bonus structure: Competitive bonus based on hours (up to ~$45K at 2,200 hours)

  • Paid holidays + 15 days PTO

• Additional discretionary bonuses for support staff
