Commissioning Agent

Overview: We are seeking a Commissioning Agent with 5+ years of mechanical equipment commissioning experience. The ideal candidate is personable, high-energy, and brings ownership, leadership, and commitment to every project.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience commissioning mechanical equipment

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping systems, building products, construction methods, and relevant codes/standards

  • Technical proficiency in mechanical systems, construction methods, and industry operations

  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel; familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD

Responsibilities:

  • Quality control of designs, energy models, and specifications

  • Coordinate with architects, owners, consultants, and other stakeholders

  • Prepare commissioning (Cx) specifications, checklists, and documents

  • On-site start-up, balancing observation, and functional checks of HVAC, Plumbing, BAS

  • Perform thermal imaging and analyze data

  • Review construction & start-up checklists and TAB reports

  • Generate punch lists, Cx reports, and documentation

  • Review construction budgets and change orders

  • Travel nationally for pre-design site visits, design meetings, and construction observations
