Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients and prospects.
  • Generate new loan and deposit business through active calling efforts and community involvement.
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to assess creditworthiness.
  • Structure, underwrite, and present commercial loan requests for approval.
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial relationships.
  • Monitor loan performance and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with credit, treasury management, and retail teams to provide comprehensive banking solutions.
  • Represent the bank in the local market through networking and business development activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-10+ years of commercial lending and relationship management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial credit analysis, underwriting, and loan structuring.
  • Experience with C&I, owner-occupied real estate, commercial real estate, and small business lending preferred.
  • Proven business development and portfolio management skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal partners.
