Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled General Liability Defense Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience handling general liability defense cases, strong litigation skills, and the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse caseload in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defend general liability claims, including premises liability, auto accidents, construction-related claims, and other personal injury matters.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic case evaluations.
• Work closely with clients, insurance adjusters, and expert witnesses to develop strong defenses.
• Manage multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in general liability or related practices.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills.
• Experience in defending clients against employment-related claims, including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and harassment.
• Ability to provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice to clients.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in CA in good standing.
