Insurance Coverage Associate Position Overview:
A well-established defense firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in insurance coverage and related litigation. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in coverage analysis and opinion writing, along with experience handling declaratory judgment and bad faith matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected insurance coverage practice that handles complex regional and national matters for major carrier clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft coverage opinions and analyze a wide range of commercial and personal lines policies
• Manage insurance coverage and declaratory judgment litigation matters
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
• Provide strategic advice to clients on coverage issues and litigation strategy
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex and high-value cases
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in insurance coverage and coverage litigation (defense side preferred)
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Admission to practice law in Arizona preferred; candidates admitted in another state and willing to seek Arizona admission will be considered
• Must reside in Arizona
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple matters independently
