Land Development Project Designer | Arkansas

A full-time Project Designer is needed to support site development and land planning projects across Arkansas. This role includes designing civil site plans for buildings, recreational facilities, trails, utilities, and drainage using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The ideal candidate has experience in civil engineering or landscape architecture and can support technical documentation, zoning compliance, and design execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create site, grading, utility, and erosion control plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Coordinate with engineers, landscape architects, and project managers on active projects
  • Complete plan reviews and revise documents for compliance and municipal approval
  • Prepare written reports, permit applications, and technical specs
  • Interpret zoning ordinances, geotechnical reports, and code requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, 3D modeling, and grading design
  • Strong understanding of land development and site planning
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage timelines
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and municipal regulations

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), core hours are 8 AM – 5 PM. Occasional evenings/weekends as needed.
