A well-established manufacturer is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to join their team. This company offers a strong work environment, competitive benefits, and long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, start up, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding machines and related equipment
- Perform mold changeovers, machine adjustments, and first-piece inspections to ensure quality production
- Monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to minimize downtime and scrap
- Maintain process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Train employees on machine operation, processing procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet production and safety goals
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of injection molding experience including setup, processing, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of injection molding machinery, process controls, and machine adjustments
- Experience with robotics, auxiliary equipment, or automated systems preferred
- Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain process parameters
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail
- Experience with computerized controllers, ERP/MRP systems, and production documentation preferred
- Experience with polyethylene, ABS, nylon, engineered resins, or TPE materials strongly preferred
- Blow molding experience is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
