Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead a nursing team. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in Long Term Care Facilities and experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or nursing leader. This position requires strong leadership, compliance expertise, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day nursing operations of the nursing team.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to the nursing team.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Title 22 and CMS guidelines.
• Develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans to improve resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.
• Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Implement quality assurance programs and promote best practices in geriatric care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active RN License (Required).
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Nursing Manager (Required).
• Strong background in Long Term Care Facilities (Required).
• Knowledge of federal and state SNF regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be available for occasional weekend coverage and on-call as needed.
