Job Title: Asbestos Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to join a nationally recognized environmental services and demolition firm. This is a chance to work for a company with decades of success, a strong safety record, and steady growth in abatement and remediation projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise asbestos abatement crews and ensure work is completed safely and per OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.

  • Oversee site setup, including containment, negative air systems, and waste handling.

  • Conduct inspections, ensure PPE compliance, and monitor project progress.

  • Lead daily safety talks, enforce company safety policies, and document any incidents.

  • Maintain daily logs, air monitoring results, and waste manifests.

  • Communicate with project managers, clients, and regulators on project status and compliance.

  • Train and mentor crew members on safety and compliance.

  • Manage tools, supplies, and equipment for cost efficiency.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of asbestos abatement or environmental remediation experience.

  • Current EPA AHERA Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Certification (40-hour) and annual 8-hour refresher.

  • Knowledge of asbestos regulations and industry best practices.

  • Experience supervising crews and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including respirator use.

  • Willingness to travel and authorized to work in the U.S.
