Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and permitting of signalization plans for intersection upgrades, school flashers, mid-block crossings, and similar projects.

  • Conduct traffic operations and safety studies (e.g., Signal Warrant Analysis, Crash Reviews, Speed Zone Studies).

  • Collect and analyze traffic data including turning movement counts, ADT, queue lengths, and vehicle classifications.

  • Conduct crash analysis and perform intersection and arterial safety assessments.

  • Lead traffic impact studies to evaluate development impacts on transportation networks.

  • Provide forecasting, modeling, GIS analysis, and planning support for transportation projects.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic engineering.

  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in Idaho or the ability to obtain one.
