Responsibilities:
As a General Dentist at our practice, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough dental examinations and developing tailored treatment plans to meet each patient's unique needs.
- Providing a comprehensive range of general dentistry services, including but not limited to:
- Preventative dentistry (prophylaxis, fluoride applications, sealants)
- Restorative procedures (composite and amalgam fillings, crowns, bridges, inlays/onlays)
- Endodontic therapy (root canals)
- Oral surgery (simple and surgical extractions)
- Prosthodontics (dentures and partials)
- Cosmetic procedures (veneers, teeth whitening)
- Educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene and explaining treatment options clearly and effectively.
- Maintaining meticulous and accurate patient records.
- Adhering to strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Collaborating effectively with our skilled dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative team to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional care.
- Committing to ongoing professional development through continuing education courses.
- Contributing to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Current and valid Texas dental license in good standing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a broad range of general dentistry procedures.
- A strong commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy and compassion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Dedication to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest dental advancements.
