Our client, a well-established accounting firm with over five decades of trusted service in Connecticut, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior or Manager to join their collaborative team. This firm is known for their personalized client approach and supportive professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute audit engagements for diverse clients
  • Review work performed by staff accountants
  • Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures
  • Identify accounting and audit issues and recommend solutions
  • Communicate with clients regarding audit progress and findings
  • Train, supervise, and mentor junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm methodologies
  • Build and maintain client relationships

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of public accounting experience with emphasis on audit services
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's a plus)
  • CPA license or actively pursuing certification
  • Experience managing audit engagements and supervising staff
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, nonprofit, construction, or healthcare preferred
  • Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Engagement and QuickBooks
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and audit standards
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
