Experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal

A respected Oklahoma law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal to join its law firm. This position will be paralegal to one of the senior owners. The firm has two locations across the state and offers the resources of established practice while maintaining a supportive, people-focused culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial
  • Work closely with attorneys throughout every stage of pre-litigation and litigation
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely case updates
  • Request, organize, review, and summarize medical records and billing statements
  • Prepare medical chronologies, damages summaries, settlement demands, and supporting documentation
  • Communicate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, experts, opposing counsel, and other parties
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, subpoenas, and other legal documents
  • Track statutes of limitations, court deadlines, discovery deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial dates
  • Assist with case valuation, settlement preparation, lien resolution, and disbursement documentation
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, expert evaluations, and client meetings
  • Prepare exhibits, witness materials, deposition summaries, trial notebooks, and other case-preparation materials
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom logistics

Required Qualifications

  • At least five years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience
  • Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies preferred
  • Strong understanding of personal injury claims, insurance procedures, medical records, damages, and litigation processes
  • Experience handling cases during both pre-litigation and active litigation
  • Knowledge of Oklahoma state court procedures and electronic filing systems
  • Strong drafting, proofreading, case-management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and compassionate approach to working with injured clients
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and support staff
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to confidentiality
