JOB DESCRIPTION
A growing and well-established structural steel fabricator and erector is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and institutional construction projects from award through closeout.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage structural steel projects from contract award through final completion
- Coordinate detailing, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and field erection activities
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production timelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Review contracts, specifications, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Monitor project costs, labor productivity, and material procurement
- Coordinate with shop management and field superintendents to ensure project success
- Negotiate and manage change orders and project scope modifications
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership and clients
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as a Structural Steel Project Manager or recent gradudate with a construction management degree
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, or large-scale construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Experience with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of AISC standards and industry best practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $125,000 DOE
