Asphalt Paving Project Manager

Company Overview

We are a reputable construction firm specializing in high-quality asphalt paving for commercial, residential, and municipal projects. We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Project Manager to lead our paving projects with efficiency and precision.

Position Summary

The Asphalt Paving Project Manager will oversee all aspects of asphalt paving projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role involves managing crews, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring safe and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute asphalt paving projects from start to finish.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, monitoring progress.
  • Coordinate with paving crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee paving operations and address any issues.
  • Manage material orders, equipment needs, and project documentation.
  • Provide project updates and reports to management and clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing asphalt paving projects.
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt paving processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.

 

  • Effective communication for coordinating with teams and DOT representatives.
