Are you a detail-driven and motivated Tax Accountant ready to take your career to the next level? Our expanding law firm—headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA with a second office in New York—is seeking a talented tax professional to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with a team of attorneys and tax professionals to serve high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. You’ll be involved in complex tax planning, compliance, and estate strategy, gaining exposure to some of the most sophisticated client matters in the industry.

 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Tax Return Preparation

  • Prepare and review a variety of complex tax returns including partnership, S-corporation, individual, trust, estate, and foundation returns

✔ Tax Planning & Strategy

  • Work hand-in-hand with attorneys to develop custom tax strategies
  • Support planning related to charitable giving, estate structuring, investments, and business entities

✔ Client Relationships

  • Build trust and long-term relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • Provide answers, updates, and solutions for complex tax matters
  • Participate in complex estate and trust administration for a full-picture view of client needs

✔ Project Management

  • Handle multiple tax matters at once, managing timelines and priorities
  • Ensure deadlines are met with accuracy and professionalism

Do You Check All the Boxes?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 3–5 years of tax preparation and planning experience
  • Experience with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, or estate work is strongly preferred
  • Skilled in tax prep software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
