Position Title: Commercial Drywall Estimator

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Drywall Estimating, specifically with metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and trim and door work (subcontracting experience preferred).
• Proficient in estimating software such as On Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid.
• OSHA Certification and bilingual abilities (preferred but not required).
• Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Review Project Plans and Specifications – Analyze architectural and structural drawings to determine scope and requirements for drywall installation.

• Perform Accurate Takeoffs – Measure and quantify materials such as drywall, framing, insulation, and related components.

• Prepare Cost Estimates – Develop detailed labor and material cost estimates, factoring in equipment, overhead, and subcontractor pricing.

• Solicit and Evaluate Subcontractor Bids – Request and assess bids from vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and scope alignment.

• Collaborate with Project Teams – Work with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify scope, resolve discrepancies, and support bid submissions.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $100K - $130K (DOE).
