Premier law is seeking an experienced family law paralegal to join their exceptional team! Multi-practice law firm located in Downtown San Diego. The atmosphere of the office is welcoming and easy-going, do not miss this wonderful opportunity if you are ready to make a change!

Your primary role would be to act as support staff for the litigation counsel

Daily tasks may vary, but general functions will include:

  • Communicating with clients, opposing counsel and court staff, including telephone calls, conference calls, and e-mail correspondence
  • Preparing initial drafts of pleadings, briefs, declarations, etc.
  • Preparing Declarations of Disclosure and gathering documents for them
  • Preparing Discovery Requests or Responses and gathering documents for them
  • Performing administrative and clerical duties when necessary

The candidate best suited for this position should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience as a paralegal with firm experience
  • Familiarity with pleading and discovery deadlines
  • Experience with document organization and calendar management
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Drop-box type programs and Court Form Programs
  • Experience with local rules and California Rules of Court
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent editing and organizational skills
  • Detail and deadline oriented
  • Proactive and service-oriented with a client-centric mindset
