About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing insurance team in Florida. This position is responsible for managing a book of commercial insurance clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, policy accuracy, renewals, and compliance with Florida insurance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned commercial accounts including renewals, endorsements, audits, and certificates of insurance.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, insurance carriers, and internal team members.

  • Review insurance applications, endorsements, and binders for accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare and present renewal proposals to clients.

  • Work with Producers and Carriers to market and place new and renewal business.

  • Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system (e.g., EPIC, AMS360, Applied).

  • Ensure timely invoicing, documentation, and follow-up on outstanding items.

Requirements:

  • Florida 2-20 General Lines License (Required) OR Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License with commitment to obtain a 2-20 within a defined period (preferred for junior-level roles).

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.

  • Strong understanding of commercial coverages (e.g., General Liability, Property, Workers Comp, Auto, etc.).

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry designations such as CIC, CISR, or CPCU preferred but not necessary 

  • Experience working with mid-market or large commercial accounts.

Compensation is based on experience, licensing, book size, and agency location. Bonus opportunities and benefits may be offered.
