A well-established livestock construction company with a strong reputation in the agricultural building industry is seeking a talented Drafter to join their team. This is a remote opportunity with a company known for its long-term stability, high-quality projects, and commitment to innovation in livestock facility design.
In this role, you’ll work closely with sales teams and project managers to develop conceptual and detailed drawings for livestock barns and related agricultural structures. Projects range from early-stage design concepts to full site layouts. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and capable of translating client needs into precise, buildable plans.
Create accurate and detailed AutoCAD and Revit drawings for agricultural and livestock construction projects.
Develop conceptual layouts, including preliminary designs and revisions.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales staff to refine drawings and ensure feasibility.
Maintain drafting standards and ensure drawings align with project specifications and industry best practices.
Support the design-to-build process from concept through construction.
3+ years of experience drafting in AutoCAD and Revit.
Background in agricultural or construction drafting, ideally with a general contractor.
Strong understanding of building design, framing systems, and layout development.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Salary range: $75,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience.
