We are searching for a successful plant manager for a family owned produced company. They have an excellent group of tenured employees that are highly trained and now they are looking for a true leader. This is a key role within the company’s management team, making final decisions to help with the continued growth and maximize profitability for the plant. Reporting directly to the President and collaborating with Ownership.
Qualifications:
· 5-10 years of leadership experience in the food and beverage industry.
· Canning experience is a plus!
Responsibilities:
· Manage and coach the team to ensure manufacturing productivity and efficiency
· Follow and enforce all policies and procedures, both company and regulator
· Communicate with the Management team on shift performance and production, both planning and issue resolution
· Inventory knowledge
· Efficiency skilled
· Safety requirements-of facility and team
· Manage and improve key operational metrics including product cost, labor utilization, and yields
