The Opportunity
We are seeking an Experienced Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join our growing practice. This role can be structured as in-office, hybrid, or fully remote, depending on your experience and location. The right candidate will bring strong tax expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of complex returns, including 1040, 1041, estates, 990, 1120, 1120S, and 1065

  • Provide tax planning and advisory services across a variety of industries

  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior staff

  • Collaborate closely with partners and team members across offices

  • Support clients with a “tax generalist” approach, serving middle-market businesses and individuals

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in public accounting

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • CPA or EA license strongly preferred (or actively pursuing)

  • Strong organizational and client service skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-focused environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary: $80,000–$150,000+ DOE and location

  • Flexible total hours and billable goals tailored to your needs

    • Maximum total hours budgeted: 2,350

    • Tax season average: 55–65 hours/week (flexibility available)

    • Reduced summer schedule: half-days or Fridays off outside busy season

  • Comprehensive insurance package:

    • Health Insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) – firm pays 75% of premium

    • Life Insurance – $25,000 employee coverage (plus spouse & child coverage)

    • Long-Term Disability Insurance – paid by firm

  • Retirement plan with 4% firm match after one year of service

  • Cafeteria plan to shelter insurance premiums

  • Generous PTO program:

    • <3 years: 2 weeks/year

    • 3–7 years: 3 weeks/year

    • 8+ years: 4 weeks/year

  • Paid holidays, including: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (plus the Friday after), and Christmas Day
