A highly regarded litigation firm in South Florida is seeking a motivated Insurance Defense Attorney with 2–7 years of experience to join their growing practice. The firm is known for its strong client base, collaborative team culture, and high-quality work in insurance defense and civil litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Maintain communication with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel
Work closely with an experienced team of litigators and support staff
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
2–7 years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation
Excellent research, writing, and courtroom skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Trial experience (preferred, not required)
Familiarity with Florida courts and civil procedure
Client-facing experience and business development interest
