Field Service Technician – Extrusion

About the Role We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of extrusion machinery across North America. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and working directly with customers to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Install new machinery, including assembly, alignment, start-up, testing, and production support
  • Lead rigging teams during installations to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, providing technical solutions
  • Train operators and maintenance staff on proper use and upkeep
  • Perform preventive maintenance, audits, and service on extrusion equipment

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in a service or maintenance role
  • Strong skills in reading technical drawings and equipment alignment
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems; basic electrical knowledge a plus
  • Proficiency with computers and clear communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a professional attitude
  • Willingness to travel extensively across North America
  • Valid driver’s license required
