Associate Attorney – Complex Litigation (Miami, FL)
A well-established downtown Miami litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 4–7 years of law firm experience to join its team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of sophisticated matters with the opportunity to develop a well-rounded litigation practice and real potential for partnership.
About the Role
The associate will represent clients in litigation and advisory work across several practice areas, including:
Complex business disputes
Professional liability defense (lawyers, accountants, design professionals, fiduciaries, trustees, insurance agents/brokers, etc. — excluding medical malpractice/healthcare providers)
Insurance industry matters, including coverage and bad faith litigation, coverage opinions, and policy analysis
While experience in all areas is not required, candidates should have substantial experience in at least one and an eagerness to expand their skills into others.
Qualifications
JD and admission to practice in Florida
4–7 years of litigation experience at a law firm
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
Courtroom experience a plus, but not required — training and opportunities to gain trial experience will be provided
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $140K–$155K DOE
