Field Service Technician


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team supporting high-performance metal processing and automated material handling systems across North America. This is a customer-facing role that requires technical expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering top-tier service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Travel to customer sites across North America during the workweek to install, service, and troubleshoot complex industrial machinery, including coil slitting systems, levelers, packaging systems, and other coil processing equipment.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC-based electrical diagnostics, repairs, and integration of large-scale systems.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel including equipment operators, maintenance staff, and plant managers to ensure smooth installation and ongoing support.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to support installation and repair activities.
• Provide training and technical support to end-users on system operation and maintenance procedures.
• Work overtime as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and project completion.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience working with large industrial or manufacturing equipment.
• Solid knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., troubleshooting, programming fundamentals).
• Proficiency in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret and work from mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Comfortable with frequent travel 
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred:
• Previous field service experience with industrial equipment.
• Background in metal processing equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and demonstrate flexibility to meet customer needs.
